Indian All-Party Delegation Arrives in Kuwait to Advance Anti-Terror Outreach
A high-level all-party parliamentary delegation from India led by MP Baijayant Jay Panda has arrived in Kuwait as part of India’s sustained diplomatic outreach under Operation Sindoor. The visit, scheduled for May 26–27, aims to reinforce India’s consistent position of zero tolerance toward terrorism and deepen engagement with key Gulf partners.

The delegation comprises sitting parliamentarians and senior political figures from across party lines, including Dr. Nishikant Dubey, S Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma, Asaduddin Owaisi, Satnam Singh Sandhu, Ghulam Nabi Azad, and Ambassador Harsh Vardhan Shringla, former Foreign Secretary and ex-Ambassador to the United States.
According to the Embassy of India in Kuwait, the delegation will engage with senior Kuwaiti officials, civil society leaders, media representatives, academic and strategic think tanks, and members of the Indian diaspora. The visit highlights India’s diplomatic effort to communicate its unified national message against terrorism following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
The Kuwait leg is part of India's broader West Asia engagement, following similar Operation Sindoor missions to Bahrain, Africa, Europe, and the United States. It reflects India’s strategic focus on building broad-based support for its counterterrorism message in key global regions.
Through meetings with government officials, policy experts, and the Indian community, the delegation will articulate India’s firm diplomatic posture, advocate for dismantling terror support systems, and encourage cooperative frameworks for regional peace and security.
The inclusion of a diverse delegation—spanning ruling and opposition parties, civil society champions, and seasoned diplomats—demonstrates India’s non-partisan approach in addressing one of its most pressing foreign policy challenges. The Kuwait visit is expected to bolster both strategic and cultural ties while aligning counterterror efforts across the Gulf region.
