India, Russia Push for Global Anti-Terror Law
India and Russia agreed to collaborate on strengthening international legal frameworks to combat terrorism. As noted in the Indian Embassy in Moscow’s release on 23 May 2025, Indian MPs led by Kanimozhi Karunanidhi met Russian lawmakers to advance global anti-terror legislation.

Leaders discussed cross-border networks, terror financing, and misuse of cyberspace. Russia echoed India’s call for multilateral accountability and legislative consensus. The visit reinforced the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between both nations, grounded in shared security interests.
