India, Japan Agree No Neutrality in Fight Against Terror
India and Japan have agreed that there is no space for neutrality when it comes to confronting terrorism. According to the Embassy of India in Tokyo’s press release dated 23 May 2025, Indian MP Sanjay Kumar Jha met with Yasuhiro Hanashi, Acting Chair of the LDP’s Research Committee on Counter-Terrorism.

Both sides emphasized legal coordination, intelligence sharing, and joint legislative oversight. Japan backed India’s firm response post- Operation Sindoor and echoed its rejection of justifications for terrorism, pledging increased cooperation in regional and cyber-security frameworks.
