Senior parliamentarians Shashi Tharoor, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Supriya Sule, and Baijayant Jay Panda will lead four high-level Indian delegations to major global capitals as part of a coordinated campaign to highlight India’s stance on terrorism and expose Pakistan’s continued support for cross-border militancy.

The multi-party teams will visit over a dozen countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Gulf region, with a unified message: India will not tolerate terrorism in any form.

Tharoor’s delegation, comprising leaders across the spectrum, will travel to Guyana, Colombia, Panama, Brazil, and the United States. Members include Shambhavi (LJP-RV), Sarfaraz Ahmed (JMM), G. M. Harish Balayogi (TDP), Shashank Mani Tripathi (BJP), Bhubaneshwar Kalita (BJP), Milind Deora (Shiv Sena), Tejasvi Surya (BJP), and former ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu.

Ravi Shankar Prasad will lead a group to UK, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, and EU headquarters. His delegation includes Daggubatti Purandeswari (BJP), Priyanka Chaturvedi (Shiv Sena-UBT), Amar Singh (Congress), Samik Bhattacharya (BJP), Ghulam Nabi Khatana (nominated), former minister M. J. Akbar, and former diplomat Pankaj Saran.

Supriya Sule’s delegation will visit Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, and South Africa. It includes Rajeev Pratap Rudy (BJP), Manish Tewari (Congress), Vikramjit Sahney (AAP), Anurag Thakur (BJP), Lavu SriKrishna Devarayalu (TDP), ex-ministers V. Muraleedharan, Anand Sharma, and former diplomat Syed Akbaruddin.

Baijayant Jay Panda will lead a team to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria, joined by Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma (all BJP), Asaduddin Owaisi (AIMIM), Satnam Sandhu (nominated), and former senior officials Ghulam Nabi Azad and Harsh Vardhan Shringla.

On Friday, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri briefed all outgoing members, outlining India's core message: an unwavering commitment to fighting terrorism, the legal and moral basis of Operation Sindoor, and the need to globally isolate state sponsors of terror.

These fresh diplomatic efforts follow outreach already undertaken in the UAE, Japan, and Russia, led by Shrikant Shinde, Sanjay Kumar Jha, and Kanimozhi Karunanidhi respectively.

The outreach forms part of India’s broader post-Operation Sindoor diplomacy, aiming to build international pressure on Pakistan and reinforce a global security consensus around India’s zero tolerance policy on terrorism.
