India’s Anti-Terror Diplomacy Moves to South Korea After Strategic Engagement in Japan
After completing a focused diplomatic engagement in Tokyo, an Indian all-party parliamentary delegation led by MP Sanjay Kumar Jha has departed for the Republic of Korea. The Japan leg, part of a 33-capital global mission, concluded with strong reaffirmations of India’s uncompromising position against terrorism and cross-border violence.
During their visit, the delegation engaged with the Indian diaspora, Japanese officials, and civil society members to communicate India’s core message: terror and dialogue cannot coexist. The team also invoked the principle that “blood and water cannot flow together,” referencing the long-standing policy of no negotiations under threat of terrorism.
The Tokyo visit was marked by powerful statements on Pakistan’s role in recent terror incidents, including its links to the Pahalgam attack and support for Lashkar-e-Taiba and its proxy, The Resistance Front. These points were forcefully conveyed during the delegation’s meetings and public remarks, including references to Operation Sindoor, India’s precise and calculated response to eliminate terror camps across the border.

The Tokyo engagement also saw the delegation pay homage to freedom fighter Rash Behari Bose at Tama Cemetery, invoking the spirit of resistance and sacrifice that now guides India's global diplomacy. The campaign reflects India’s intent not just to defend its sovereignty, but to unify international voices around a shared understanding of security and justice.
The next destination, the Republic of Korea, is expected to build on these efforts. India’s partnerships in East Asia are being positioned as key pillars in its global outreach against terrorism. Previous stops in Russia, Germany, and the UAE have already laid a diplomatic foundation for consensus-building and cooperative frameworks.
With a message grounded in clarity and conviction, India continues to emphasize that it seeks peace—but not at the cost of ignoring or tolerating terrorism. The delegation’s next round of engagements will carry this message forward, to restate India’s role as a leading voice in the global effort to isolate and confront state-sponsored extremism.
