Supriya Sule Leads Sixth Delegation in India’s Global Anti-Terror Outreach Covering Qatar, Egypt, Ethiopia, South Africa
Continuing India’s ambitious global diplomatic campaign against cross-border terrorism, the sixth all-party parliamentary delegation has departed from New Delhi, led by Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) MP Supriya Sule. The delegation will visit Qatar, Egypt, Ethiopia, and South Africa as part of India’s mission to reinforce its zero-tolerance policy on terrorism and strengthen international support for its counterterrorism doctrine.

This four-nation tour is part of the broader 33-capital outreach launched in the wake of Operation Sindoor, India’s targeted military response to terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation has become a diplomatic pivot point for India’s global messaging that terror and diplomacy cannot coexist.
India’s efforts have gained momentum in recent weeks, with previous delegations visiting the UAE, Russia, Europe, and Japan, delivering a unified message: India seeks global solidarity to isolate state-backed terrorism and ensure justice for its victims.
Supriya Sule’s leadership in this phase of the outreach adds continuity to the message already presented in earlier legs. She previously participated in Europe-bound delegations where lawmakers clarified India’s stand on terror groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and its proxy TRF, which was linked to the Pahalgam terror attack.
The upcoming engagements in Africa and the Arab world will emphasize India’s principles of non-escalatory but firm response to provocations, reiterating that talks and terror cannot go together. These nations are seen as vital partners in shaping a global consensus on emerging threats like terror financing, radicalization, and proxy warfare.
India has also proposed mechanisms like a global anti-terror legal framework in partnership with Russia, and launched dialogue tracks with countries like Germany to secure broader international support for lawful, proportionate defensive actions against terror infrastructure.
India’s strategy remains consistent: engaging governments, diaspora communities, and civil society to expose the roots of cross-border terrorism and position India as a leading voice in global counterterrorism diplomacy.
