The delegation will engage with foreign counterparts to convey India’s national consensus and unwavering resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. The visit is part of the broader initiative following Operation Sindoor, through which India is reaching out to key global partners across continents to present its position on regional security challenges and cross-border terrorism.
This follows recent outreach missions led by other delegations to Europe, the Gulf, and East Asia. Each team is tasked with affirming India’s sovereign right to self-defence and strengthening partnerships in combating terrorism, especially with countries that share India’s concerns on state-sponsored extremism.
The delegations are also reinforcing New Delhi’s message that peace and talks are impossible without the dismantling of terror infrastructure. These missions are supported by senior diplomats and ambassadors stationed abroad who are coordinating engagements with lawmakers, think tanks, and policy institutions.
The delegation led by Kanimozhi comes amid sustained global attention on India’s security posture, as expressed during Jaishankar’s Berlin summit and forums such as Raisina Tokyo 2025.
