Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan conducted a high-level operational review of the Indian Army’s Northern Command in Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir and Western Command in Chandimandir, Haryana , two primary locations that led military operations under Operation Sindoor . During the visit, Gen. Chauhan was briefed by Lt Gen Pratik Sharma and Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar on both kinetic and non-kinetic measures executed to neutralize terror networks and blunt hostile provocations on the northern and western frontiers. Suratgarh/Naliya, May 19 — Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan visited the forward bases at Suratgarh Military Station and Naliya Air Force Station today to review operational preparedness and boost troop morale. Accompanied by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, South Western Command, and Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, AOC-in-C, South Western Air Command, the CDS interacted with personnel and commended their high state of readiness and morale.
