In a statement posted on X, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces said that “on the orders of the Operational Commander, weapons have been deployed, and services are actively working to locate the downed objects.” It added that the operation is continuing and urged civilians to remain indoors.

The command identified Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, and Lubelskie voivodeships as the most threatened regions. All forces remain at “full readiness” as radar and air defense systems monitor the situation.

The alleged incursion marks the latest breach of NATO airspace amid Russia’s escalating drone campaign against Ukraine.

IndianRepublic.in could not independently verify the violations.

This is a developing story.
