Incoming Alert: Israel Issues Persian Evacuation Warning for Tehran's Hakimiya Industrial Zone Ahead of Planned Strikes

Israel’s military on Tuesday evening (IST) issued an urgent public evacuation warning in Persian to residents and workers in Tehran’s Hakimiya industrial area, stating that it would conduct operations targeting what it described as Iranian military infrastructure in the coming hours.

In a post published by its Farsi-language account, the Israeli army warned individuals located in the red-designated zone shown on an attached map to immediately leave the area. The message said the military had conducted similar operations in recent days in the Tehran region and would continue targeting infrastructure linked to the Iranian regime. “Your presence in this area puts your life in danger,” the statement said, urging civilians to evacuate for their safety.

The warning marks a significant escalation in public military messaging, with Israel directly addressing Iranian civilians in Persian ahead of planned strikes inside the capital. It comes amid intensified Israeli air operations in and around Tehran, which Israeli officials have described as “targeted strikes” against military assets.

Explosions have been reported across Tehran in recent nights, with witnesses describing aircraft overhead and repeated blasts, though Iranian authorities have not publicly detailed all sites struck. The Israeli military has said it is acting to degrade Iran’s missile, naval and strategic capabilities as part of the broader U.S.–Israeli campaign launched days earlier.

The evacuation notice also reflects a growing pattern in the conflict in which military operations are preceded by public warnings intended to limit civilian casualties. Similar advance warnings have been used in past conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon, though their effectiveness depends on civilians’ ability to safely leave targeted zones.

The warning comes as the war continues to expand geographically. Iranian retaliation has included missile and drone launches toward Israel and strikes affecting Gulf infrastructure, while Hezbollah has declared an “open war” with Israel from Lebanon. Diplomatic compounds, energy terminals and maritime routes have increasingly come under threat, prompting evacuations of foreign nationals and heightened military alert levels across the region.

The issuance of a specific, mapped evacuation order in Tehran suggests that the conflict is entering a more sustained phase of direct strikes on strategic assets inside Iran’s capital, rather than remaining limited to peripheral facilities. It also signals that Israeli operations are likely to continue in the near term, with urban industrial zones now explicitly named as potential targets.

At the same time, no clear political framework for de-escalation has been publicly outlined by any of the principal actors. U.S. officials have described the campaign as aimed at reducing Iran’s military capabilities rather than pursuing regime change, while Iranian officials have vowed continued retaliation.

With energy corridors under strain, diplomatic missions targeted, and now evacuation warnings issued in Tehran itself, the war appears to be shifting from rapid exchanges toward a protracted, multi-front confrontation whose trajectory will depend on whether military objectives remain limited or expand further in the coming days.
