Moscow warned that such actions are sharply destabilizing the region and could lead to long-term, harmful consequences for global security, trade, transport routes, and the non-proliferation regime.
The ministry described the attacks as “unprovoked aggression” that violate Iran’s sovereignty, interfere in its internal affairs, and attempt regime change, calling these moves a clear breach of the UN Charter and international law.
Moscow further emphasized that these "inadmissible developments must be stopped immediately."
Russia confirmed it will continue active diplomatic engagement through bilateral contacts, as well as within the frameworks of the United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency, to prevent further escalation.
