Iran Cracks Down on Espionage: Six Mossad Spies Arrested, Executions Continue
Iran has arrested six suspected Mossad operatives in Hamadan province, accusing them of working to destabilize the country on Israel’s behalf.
The group was detained in Razan, Nahavand, and Hamadan for allegedly coordinating online with foreign intelligence and inciting unrest, Iranian officials were quoted as saying by Mehr News Agency.

The arrests follow a string of executions. On Monday, Mohammad-Amin Mahdavi Shayesteh was hanged for spying for Mossad and allegedly collaborating with Iran International, a Persian-language channel Tehran claims is linked to Israel. A day earlier, Majid Mosayebi was executed on similar charges.
Iran’s judiciary chief has pledged fast-track trials for all security cases linked to Israel, calling collaborators a “fifth column” for the enemy.
The crackdown comes amid escalating regional conflict after Israel’s June 13 strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites triggered retaliatory missile exchanges involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.
