NEWSFLASH: President Murmu to Inaugurate Two-Day National Literary Conference at Rashtrapati Bhavan
Rashtrapati Bhavan will host a two-day national literary conference titled "How Much Has Literature Changed?" on May 29 and 30, 2025, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre. The event is being organized in association with the Sahitya Akademi and the Ministry of Culture.
The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, will formally inaugurate the conference on May 29. The inaugural session will also be attended by the Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, along with authors, poets, and literary scholars from across India.

The conference will include multiple thematic sessions covering a broad spectrum of Indian literary discourse. Scheduled discussions include Poets’ Meet – Straight from the Heart, Feminist Literature of India: Breaking New Grounds, Change in Literature vs. Literature of Change, and New Directions of Indian Literature in Global Perspective.
The event will conclude with a session dedicated to the life and legacy of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar.
