Conspiracy Against USA? Trump Slams China, Sends Sarcastic Warm Regards to Putin and Kim Amid Xi’s Victory Parade Speech

U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday posted a sharply worded message during China’s military parade marking the 80th anniversary of Japan’s defeat in World War II.

In the statement, Trump questioned whether Chinese President Xi Jinping would acknowledge the American bloodshed and military support provided to China during the war, while also referencing Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Trump wrote, “The big question to be answered is whether or not President Xi of China will mention the massive amount of support and ‘blood’ that the United States of America gave to China in order to help it to secure its FREEDOM from a very unfriendly foreign invader.”

He went on to express hope that American soldiers who died fighting alongside Chinese forces would be “rightfully honored and remembered,” and ended with a pointed line: “Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America.”

The remarks came as Xi Jinping delivered a nationally televised speech from Tiananmen Square, celebrating China’s wartime resistance and issuing subtle warnings about current global tensions.

While Xi praised the “huge national sacrifice” of the Chinese people, he did not explicitly reference foreign wartime allies. He stated that “humanity again has to choose between peace and war,” and emphasized China’s rejection of foreign bullying and its ongoing military modernization.

Xi said China would continue to build a “world-class military” and safeguard its “sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.”

The parade featured high-profile guests including Putin and Kim Jong-un, with all three leaders appearing together on a central viewing platform -- a rare and symbolically potent image that underscored growing alignment between the three nuclear powers.

The event also included military flyovers and a public display of advanced defense systems under the banner of Chinese rejuvenation and global multipolarity.

Trump’s post highlighted the geopolitical subtext of the parade, which many analysts interpreted as a deliberate show of unity among China, Russia, and North Korea in response to Western alliances.

The U.S. president has repeatedly criticized both current and past administrations over what he views as weak posture toward China, and has used platforms like Truth Social to reinforce themes of economic nationalism and American military strength.

Xi’s speech made no direct reference to Taiwan but repeated themes tied to reunification and national integrity. Beijing views Taiwan as part of its territory and has vowed to take it by force if necessary.

The event also coincided with rising concerns over Chinese military purges and recent leadership changes within the People’s Liberation Army, issues that Xi acknowledged by calling on troops to uphold loyalty and readiness.

The remarks from Trump, issued as global attention was fixed on Beijing, add a new layer of political tension amid an already sensitive diplomatic environment.

The White House has not commented on the post. The U.S. State Department has also yet to issue a formal statement on the parade.
