Trump Slams ‘Trump is Dead’ Meme Fest, Highlights Crime Crackdown and Voter Fraud Concerns Particularly in Colorado

United States President Donald Trump has dismissed a viral social media trend falsely claiming he had died over the weekend.

Trump called it “fake news” and criticized media outlets for amplifying the rumor.

“That’s pretty serious stuff. I did a number of interviews last week.

I didn’t do any for two days, and they said something must be wrong,” Trump said, referencing the “Trump is dead” meme that circulated online. “Biden doesn’t do anything for months, and nobody ever questions it.”

Highlights D.C. Safe Zone; Eyes Chicago, Baltimore

Trump used the press conference to spotlight his administration’s efforts to reduce crime in major cities.

He claimed Washington, D.C. is now a “safe zone” following federal interventions that removed 1,600 alleged criminals from the streets.

“This city was really bad. Now it’s safe. The restaurants are booming. Families can walk down the street,” Trump said.

He pledged to take similar action in other cities, including Chicago, Baltimore, and Los Angeles, despite pushback from Democratic governors.

“If the Governor of Illinois calls, I’ll answer. But we’re going in anyway,” Trump said, referencing the previous weekend’s tally of over 50 shooting victims in Chicago alone.

He added that California and Maryland may also see federal involvement, calling Governor Newsom and Governor Moore “naïve or dishonest” for rejecting assistance.

Voter Fraud Allegations Resurface

Trump renewed his longstanding attacks on mail-in voting, particularly in Colorado, whose statewide ballot system he labeled as “corrupt.”

“Mail-in voting leads to rigged elections,” Trump claimed. “If you have mail-in voting, Democrats will cheat.”

He tied the issue to recent controversy over the relocation of Space Command headquarters from Colorado to Alabama, dismissing concerns that relocation may affect personnel unwilling to move.

“They’ll find replacements. The problem with Colorado is the voting system, not the people,” Trump said.

‘Spic and Span’ D.C. Vision

Trump reiterated his vision to restore Washington’s architectural style, calling for the beautification of federal buildings and the revival of historic design.

“For 150 years, they wanted a ballroom in the White House. We’re finally doing it. D.C. will be spic and span,” he said.

He added that infrastructure upgrades were underway around the capital, with efforts to clean up public spaces, improve safety, and restore civic pride.

Religious Liberty and School Security

In light of recent shootings, including one in Minnesota, Trump said his administration would expand support for religious institutions and proposed allowing military-trained teachers to carry firearms in schools.

“You can’t arm everyone, but some teachers have the training. That should be studied,” Trump said, linking the idea to broader school safety initiatives.

He also promised an upcoming announcement on religious liberty, stating: “We’re doing things for every religion that nobody else has done.”
