His itinerary includes the Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany. According to the Indian Embassy in The Hague, the minister was received by Indian Ambassador Reenat Sandhu and Gabriella Sancisi, Director of Protocol at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The embassy stated that the visit is expected to give “further momentum to India-Netherlands relations.” During his stay, Jaishankar will engage with top Dutch officials to review bilateral cooperation and explore new avenues in trade, innovation, and global governance.

He will also discuss pressing regional and international issues with his counterparts. Sources indicate that Jaishankar will brief European leaders on India’s launch of Operation Sindoor, a counter-terror initiative following the April 22 Pahalgam attack, to state New Delhi’s security position amid rising regional tensions.

His subsequent visits to Denmark and Germany are expected to reinforce India’s strategic partnerships in Europe and highlight its role in global peace and stability.
