According to Kermanpour, over 90 percent of the victims were civilians.
Israel began its wave of strikes early Friday, targeting key military and nuclear facilities in Tehran and other cities. The attacks killed several of Iran’s top military commanders and nuclear scientists, marking one of the most extensive strikes against Iran’s leadership and infrastructure in recent years.
The Israeli offensive continued into Saturday and Sunday with strikes reported across multiple regions.
In retaliation, Iran has launched missile attacks on several targets inside Israel since Friday, resulting in casualties and widespread damage.
The ongoing exchange of fire between the two countries has raised concerns globally as the conflict enters its fourth day with no signs of immediate de-escalation.
