India, Egypt Reaffirm Anti-Terror Partnership During Parliamentary Delegation Visit
A high-level Indian parliamentary delegation led by MP Supriya Sule concluded its visit to Egypt on June 3, 2025, as part of India’s global diplomatic outreach following the Pahalgam terror attack.

In Cairo, the delegation met Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, who strongly condemned the Pahalgam attack and expressed Egypt’s full solidarity with India. Both sides agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation on counter-terrorism under the India-Egypt Strategic Partnership.
The delegation also met Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit and discussed regional coordination against terrorism and India’s broader engagement with the Arab world.
At the Heliopolis War Memorial, the Indian delegation paid tribute to Indian soldiers who served in the World Wars. They also held a roundtable with former Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy and leading Egyptian intellectuals, media figures, and analysts.
The visit reaffirmed India and Egypt’s shared position against terrorism and commitment to strengthening strategic ties.
