Officials said 33 bodies have been handed over to families following confirmation of identity.
Rupani was among the 242 passengers and crew aboard the London-bound Boeing 787 that crashed minutes after takeoff on Thursday. The aircraft went down in a densely populated area near the BJ Medical College complex, causing additional casualties on the ground.
The identification process continues as recovery and investigation efforts remain underway.
