Discussions during the two-day engagement focused on the Annual Defence Cooperation Plan, joint military exercises such as Exercise AJEYA WARRIOR, military training, and collaboration with think tanks. Both sides also explored capability development, interoperability enhancement, and cooperation in niche technologies.
As part of the visit, the British delegation was hosted at the Hisar Military Station, where they were briefed on mechanised warfare tactics and observed small team drills conducted by Indian Army units. The visit provided operational insights and strengthened the mutual understanding of both forces.
The ESG serves as the institutional platform for reviewing defence engagements and identifying areas for further collaboration between the two armies.
