Indian Parliamentary Delegation Visits Spain to Strengthen Global Response to Terrorism
An all-party parliamentary delegation from India arrived in Spain today for a three-day visit from 31 May to 2 June 2025, as part of India’s global diplomatic outreach following the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam and the subsequent Operation Sindoor. The visit reflects India’s principled and unwavering commitment to fighting terrorism in all its forms and advocating for enhanced international cooperation.

The delegation is led by Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Member of Parliament from the Lok Sabha and a senior opposition leader. The cross-party nature of the delegation demonstrates a unified national stance in India’s fight against terrorism. It includes Rajeev Rai (Samajwadi Party), Brijesh Chowta (BJP), Prem Chand Gupta (RJD), Ashok Kumar Mittal (AAP), and former ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri.
During the visit, the delegation will meet Spanish government officials, parliamentarians, civil society representatives, and members of the Indian community. The focus of the discussions will be on reinforcing shared international values against terrorism and fostering collective action to address the global security threat.
