VIRAL: Abhishek Banerjee Puts Nation First, Urges Unified Stand on National Security

Speaking during an interaction linked to India’s ongoing global diplomatic campaign following the Pahalgam terror attack, Banerjee addressed a key public concern: the opposition’s stance on national security. “A lot of people, especially those who don't follow politics closely, wonder what the opposition’s position would be on issues like sovereignty or national security. Let me be clear—where I might differ with the ruling party politically, I will oppose them tooth and nail. But when it comes to national security, I will stand firmly and work in the best interest of my nation,” he said.

Banerjee’s statement comes at a time when political unity on counter-terrorism efforts has taken center stage in India's global diplomatic outreach. His remarks reflect a broader sentiment of bipartisan solidarity against terror threats.
He also made a strong pitch for greater public awareness and digital engagement. Citing documented instances of high-ranking Pakistani military officials attending funerals of declared terrorists, Banerjee questioned how much more proof the global community required. “What else can we offer you as evidence?” he asked.
Calling for enhanced digital advocacy, he stressed the role of public voices in shaping international opinion. “You need to amplify this further; flag this in your social media handles. Twitter threads today travel faster than diplomatic cables. We need to up our ante as well,” he said.
